Watch Movement Servicing

Our history in watch and clock repair and manufacturing started in 1898. Now we’re in our 4th Generation in the Horology business.

Quality repair has always been our priority. Our workshop is highly equipped with all the necessary tools and skill to repair your timepiece, whatever the age, brand, or complications; starting from a simple crown (setter) replacement to a complete overhaul, we can help you out with the proper parts and work needed.

Each timepiece is handled with the utmost care and delicacy, whether it is a Quartz, Mechanical or Automatic watch;

Quartz Watches

Since the 1980’s, quartz, or battery-operated, timepieces have become the world’s most widely used timekeeping technology, used in expensive watches by well-known brands  to budget, everyday watches. We repair any and all sort of battery-operated timepieces, from your daily watch all the way to servicing the highest quality and brands of quartz timepieces.

Mechanical and Automatic watches

Mechanical and automatic watches will need attention from time to time to keep in good condition and working accurately.

We can service any timepiece from vintage pocket watches to more advanced and technological timepieces, whatever the age, brand, or complications.

While the process may vary from one timepiece to another, the standard procedure usually follows these steps:

  • The movement is completely disassembled for inspection of damaged or worn-out parts.
  • All parts are given a deep cleaning in a 3-stage cleaning machine to ensure all old dirt and dry oils are removed.
  • The movement is then re-assembled, with any new parts that may be needed.
  • It is lubricated using different oils and greases according to the original factory standards, to ensure a long life and trouble-free performance.
  • The movement is then calibrated for timing on a swiss timing machine for the best accuracy.
  • In the meantime, the case and bracelet have been either deep cleaned in an ultra-sonic cleaner, or polished, depending on the client’s request.
  • Finally, the timepiece is re-assembled, and the power reserve and timing are tested on a watch winder for quality control.
